For the launch of Huckberry’s exclusive collection with Ford, I worked with our brand marketing team to hone in on the overlap between brands. After discovering that a Huckberry employee had recently rescued his grandfather’s F-150 from the junk yard, I recognized that I had a unique opportunity to tell a generational story – influenced by own close relationship with my grandfather. At the heart of it was family and place.

Inspired by a conversation with our cinematographer on-set, I wrote a voiceover for the brand launch film. The result was a letter from the vintage truck to his owner, reflecting on all he’d seen over the years. Using an AI program, I created a western cowboy voice as a way to pitch the idea to stakeholders. Once we knew we had something, I managed a live recording as well as music supervision for the project.
